This is some important information you need to have ahead of your mini session.

 

•  The arboretum is pretty big, so please look up the location ahead of time and try to arrive at least 20 minutes before your session time. Chances are the parking will be busy or the walk to the specific location might be long.

• Please choose your preferred location within the Arboretum for your photoshoot. You may select only one of the following options:

  1. ​Option 1: The Zoo Garden. This area faces the Quarters. You can view it on the map below or on this link. In the brochure, zoom in on the section between numbers 3, 4, and 6 to locate it.

  2. Option 2: The Ginkgo Grove
     Although it won’t be at its peak golden color this weekend, it’s still a beautiful and unique spot.

     • Please note that the parking lot closest to the Ginkgo Grove is reserved for visitors with disabilities, so you may need to park farther away. In the worst-case scenario, the walk to this location could take around 15–20 minutes.

     • A few extra tips:

       • The ground will likely be covered in small fallen fruit from the trees, which can leave a strong smell on your shoes. I recommend bringing a plastic or tote bag to store your shoes for the ride home.

       • If you’d like any photos sitting on the ground, please bring a blanket to keep your clothes clean.
